Dedicated to the memory of Nova Hirsch

This site is a tribute to Nova Hirsch:

Nova Lee Hirsch was born on September 1st, 1980 to Charles and Alma Offley. She attended various schools in Massachusetts, and finished her college education in Maine at Unity College.

Nova began her career as a teacher, and soon moved on to become a correctional officer at the Maine State Prison, which resulted in her becoming a counselor at the Ironwood school in Morrill, Maine. Nova's passion in helping youth find their way out of bad habits and into adulthood made her one of the best and most empathetic councelors in. No matter how she was feeling, she always put the youth's needs before her own.

Nova was a beautiful young woman who came in to this world with a mindset to only help others. Her love and passion to aid others in their struggles really showed as she continually touched the lives of many young teenagers.

She loved the outdoors and would never miss a chance to do anything in, or outside the gym. She loved biking, and lifting weights as well exploring and trails throughout the Camden hills. She also enjoyed reading, writing, going out with friends, and cooking.

She will be much missed and loved. Anyone who knew Nova, would know that she had one of the biggest hearts and such a contagious laugh and smile that could light up anyone's day. She was truly a joy to be around, and she will be dearly missed to whomever's life she has touched.

As long as I live, I will never forget Nova's beautiful smile and her loving vibe that seemed to follow wherever she went.

I could not have written this without the help of:
Charita Anne Offley.

Thank you for allowing me to do this and providing me with the information I needed.

And, may Nova Lee Hirsch rest in peace and know that although we are down here, she will forever be on our minds.
